| Membership eligibility and entitlements |
|
- Only persons/institutions engaged in the areas of Institute’s concerns (i.e. local governance, panchayati raj issues and allied areas) could avail of membership.
- Membership for general reference/consultation work is not available.
- Persons applying for membership should produce Identity Card/Official reference letter.
- Students at Post-graduate and research level students only can avail of the library membership facilities
- who are not getting any sponsorship or financial assistance are entitled to a concession
of ten per cent (on production of an official letter from their supervisor/guide)
- Retired civil servants/social scientists interested in the areas of work of the Institute can
avail of ten per cent concession in the membership fee
- Library service hours are from 10.00 am to 5.30 pm.
- Members shall handle library materials with utmost care. Any damage caused during usage will be Charged to the concerned member
- Members will not make or receive telephone calls in the library premises
- Strict silence is to be observed within the library premises
- Eatables/drinks are not permissible in the library premises
- Library is a No Smoking Zone. Members are requested not to smoke in the library.
